Ready to build your crochet confidence and create something functional and beautiful? In this three-session class, we’ll work step-by-step to make a beginner-friendly project. Choose either a handy craft bag or a set of trivets/coasters. Class time: 10:00-12:00 pm Class dates: Sept. 5, 12, 19, & 26 Objectives: Build consistency with foundational crochet stitches Practice working in the round Learn how to shape and structure a bag Create a sturdy drawstring closure Finish and assemble your project with confidence By the end of the three sessions , you’ll have a completed drawstring bag and a stronger understanding of crochet construction—plus the skills to make more in different sizes and yarns. Supplies for the project bag: 545 yards DK or worsted weight yarn - this is a great stash buster project so bring colors you already have or pick some up at a thrift store! 4.0 mm crochet hook 2 stitch markers Scissors Tape measure Plastic base (I'll send a link) Supplies for the trivets/coasters: 4 skeins, different colors of DK or worsted weight yarn 5.0 mm crochet hook Stitch markers Scissors Please note: class size must be at least 3 people.
